Carbon Literacy for Content Creators

When organisations commit to becoming sustainable, they become more dynamic, creative and efficient. Their people feel empowered to effect change in their jobs and personal lives and consequently they often feel greater ownership over their work. Sustainability means innovation and renewal.

As societies and governments move towards Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050, organisations are delivering Carbon Literacy training to their teams to support them in this transition.

Carbon Literacy is an awareness of the carbon dioxide costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.

There are many kinds of Carbon Literacy training, designed to provide learners with a fundamental understanding of the causes of climate change, how it relates to global temperature increases and what we will all have to do to adapt to a changing climate. Many courses are designed to facilitate a transition to sustainable working practices in a given sector or for a particular audience.

"Dan delivered complex and potentially overwhelming information in an engaging and entertaining format allowing informed decision-making about achievable steps each of us can take for the good of all and ourselves.

Five stars aren't enough! Highly recommended."

Rachel Boyd, Director, Crocodile Media

"I thoroughly enjoyed the Carbon Literacy Training provided by Dan. The two half days were incredibly useful; for understanding what our carbon footprint really is, contextualising the effects of climate change and providing an opportunity for us to discuss how we as a business can make changes to better the environment. It's awesome to see not just an increased awareness amongst employees, but positive (eco-friendly) changes being made as a result of the training!"
